Samsung and Qualcomm ink $1.3 billion wireless technology cross-licensing deal

Samsung Electronics will pay Qualcomm $1.3 billion in a cross-licensing deal that will allow Samsung to use the chipmakers’s 3G and 4G wireless technology and for Qualcomm to use 57 of the manufacturer’s mobile patents. RadioShack to begin selling iPhone 3G and 3GS smartphones
