Motorola DROID owners will begin getting the Android 2.1 update this week

On its Facebook fan page this evening, Motorola said that it would begin rolling out the Android 2.1 update to DROID owners beginning this week. The company didn’t mention anything about CLIQ upgrades, but it did say that it will share more information in the next few days.
