Following last weeks news of a leak that claimed to show off HTC’s line up for 2010, the HTC Bravo, one of the most exciting handsets in the line up, has been outed again only this time in a nice shiny press photo. Courtesy of the guys over at ai.rs blog, the image shows off a device that is reminiscent of the recently released HTC HD2, the current cream of the Windows Mobile crop. Whilst the design does sport several subtle differences in the form of a smaller display and more rounded design, on the inside there is one major difference that sets the Bravo apart; the Bravo is running Android OS.
Not just any old Android though, the Bravo is set to be HTC’s first smartphone to run the highly coveted Android 2.0 (Eclair) and will combine it with a 1GHz Snapdragon processor (as expertly implemented in the HD2). Other rumoured specs include a 3.7 inch capacitive touchscreen display, 320MB RAM to compliment the excellent processor, a 5.0 Megapixel camera with an LED Flash and the usual assortment of connectivity options including HSDPA, Wi-Fi and GPS.
Though you can’t tell from the screen shot, expect the Bravo to launch with HTC’s Sense UI installed on top of the Android 2.0 to give you easy access to all your contacts, content and favourite social networking sites. No word on an official launch date yet but with leaks now appearing regularly it’s surely only a matter of time. Keep an eye on the blog over the coming weeks and we’ll let you know as soon as the HTC Bravo gets official.
