Motorola DROID 4 now available from Verizon Wireless for $199

The Motorola DROID 4, the latest generation of the smartphone that really kicked things off for Android, is now available for purchase from Verizon Wireless. The DROID 4 borrows a number of design elements from it stablemates, the DROID RAZR and DROID RAZR MAXX, but it also includes the obligatory physical keyboard – this time with 5 rows of edge-lit keys. The phone features a 4-inch, qHD (540 x 960 pixel) display and is powered by a dual-core, 1.2GHz processor. The DROID 4 is also the first keyboard-equipped DROID model to have 4G LTE support. If all of that adds up to what you are looking for in a smartphone, you can purchase the DROID 4 from Verizon Wireless stores and online for $199.99 with a new two-year contract. The DROID 4 is eligible for Verizon’s double data promotion, so those that sign up now can get 4GB of monthly data for the same $30 per month price that 2GB normally costs.
